  1. Musashi Tanto

The Musashi Katana II and Musashi Wakizashi II are both absolutely beautiful. They deserve a Tanto version of it!

  2. Mining Pick

Hi, i was thinking about that you not only have to make the "kill" weapons, but also some Roleplay weapons.
Like i was thinking about something like a Mining Pick, or maybe a Woodcutter axe.
Just something that we can use both in battle and then as our RP chars ^^

Roleplaying weapons would for sure be great to have. We are planning to do a mining pick. Zombie LARPs will also love those.

Do you see a clean and looking new steel mining pick, or something with rust and scars on it?

Thanks for sharing us this idea. It will be a great project to work on.

  3. Warglaives

Well i'd like to introduce the twinglaives of azzinoth to everyone. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_4MUf6T4VzPw/SdlKxLzsjiI/AAAAAAAAG5w/UHwbJpyHj2Q/s400/warcraft-warglaive-azzinoth-papercraft.jpg
thats a paper model of the actual weapon. since the blades at both sides are the same, you could use exactly the same weapon in right or left hand. Of course they should not be exactly like in the WoW game but this is the main idea. I am sure even addicts would not complain if they were made a bit more handleable. Well hope I am not the only one who always wished to fight with weapons like this.

  4. work on the longevity of your sword foam.

i attend a weekly battle game larp were your weapons reign king as the best quality weapons but for the last few generations of swords the foam and surfacing has been surprisingly weak and the weapons are barely lasting a few months of weekly use compared to years at a time from your older generations.

  5. make a "chainsword".

I'd like to suggest a new product for your range, something a little less fantasy and a little more archetypical cyberpunk - a sword with chainsaw-blades instead of a regular edged-blade.

I'm unsure how easily your manufacturing process could handle the chainsaw-blade pieces, but you've done some pretty intricate pieces already and I'm confident in your ability to work out the complications. I'd buy one, that much I can say for sure. :-)

I own one already that I won as a prize, but it's vinyl and definitely not LARP-safe, here's a link to an image for the record: https://encrypted-tbn2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn%3AANd9GcQKDu6wK-sNprjqIC2uK1X4bn0Y2rvYpMWBvL8z5Y6kIFYlm3AV1g

  7. Readjust weight!

Your weapons are really beautiful, but as a martial artist I'm put off by how light they are. I'm not saying that LARP weapons should be as heavy as real ones (that would be overkill) but a bastard sword (which is wielded in two hands) needs to weigh more than 450g.
Such a light weapon feels just wrong and encourages just waving about the sword instead of swinging it. A weapon should always suggest the wielder to hold something of consequence. Also, heavier and still balanced weapons make for a more beautiful and realistic fighting style in LARP.
    Please consider…

  8. The infamous cavalry saber

I sugest the cavalry saber. http://media.liveauctiongroup.net/i/9633/10495344_1.jpg?v=8CDC8C22A177920 used from the 1700s to ww2.
Will fitt LARP, civil war reenacters and even ww2 airsofters.
The top one is known as the "lion head saber". The lower two is the typical civil war saber.

  9. Try a Main-Gauche/Parrying Dagger.

A parrying dagger is a traditional companion for any rapier, and would be so beautiful to have along with an Agrippa (Which I have, for instance!) or a sabre. Especially if you make a closed or ringleted crossguard such as in http://www.kultofathena.com/images%5CDSA1807BK_5_l.jpg , it would be a perfect weapon!

  10. Make generic historical weapons

I would really like to see more historical weapons on your line. Swords, axes, maces from Rome to renaissance. I see a lot of them from other LARP weapon companys but they lack the quiality of Calimacil's weapons. With historically correct weapons will surely be able to get some additional market share, at least on the European market - we tend do prefer the real deal to fantasy sometimes.

Keep up the fantastic work, greetings from Sweden!

  11. Make Dwarf weapons

You could make dwarf weapons! You aderaly maked orc weapons, human weapon and elven weapons. Now, you could make dwarf weapons like Hammers an axes with angular dwarf runes, squared faces, or something like this.

  12. Medieval Polearms

Please make a Medieval Pole arm. You've introduced two weapons for Asian Characters, but none of them fits for a Knight or a Mercenary.
Maybe you can put the head of Scrow the Warhammer onto the Staff of Jingu, the Empress' Naginata.
A Pollaxe would be nice too:

  13. Have a 'custom polearm' like the 'Custom Sword' option.

If item like the 'wooden staff' was made shorter and had a attachment point at the end,
you could have a varity of blades to exchange and attach,
without having to buy another foam staff or complete polearm.

This also would allow different length's of foam pole's by having extra pole length that could be attached, and easer shipping because of the ability to break down the length.

(I would suggest a socket and a pin like a katana and have the tang be very long)

    To sum it up,
a blunt normal staff end could be attached at each…

  14. MAX CLAYMORE

I really like the claymores on your site, however, I'd really like to see a maximum sized Scottish style claymore. 72 inches long. If you were to make this right, I would be eternally grateful, and I'm positive you guys could do it.

  15. Produce a Scottish basket hilt for your custom swords category

Actually, I wish you'd offer something which suits a proud warrior from the Highlands as well as a naval gentleman at the same time (depending which character I choose to play at a given event). I would love to have something that combines the fierce strength of a double-edged and double-fullered blade of at least 33.5" length (your Double Fuller II with a hybrid/carbon core) and the elegance of a basket-hilted rapier or epée.

In 2003 the company "BOARS FL" in Spoleto/Italy was so kind to fulfill my wish and the broadsword is still in good shape, although the reason…

  16. create a Single Edged Norse Sword

http://guild.calimacil.com/albums/photo/view/album_id/58/photo_id/103 A single edged norse sword with the same great handling as the Ragnar, but without the painful grip.

I can't be the only person here who thinks this is a great idea. An anthropomorphic celtic longsword would also be lovely. http://guild.calimacil.com/albums/photo/view/album_id/58/photo_id/86

For me, handling is more important than looks on a sword. So stiff, sturdy grips and good balancing should be the priority here.

  18. drawing for a user submitted sword design

I know that most of us want to have our own design as made with the quality materials that calimacil provides. Users could submit their sword designs, and (10, 20) designs would be randomly picked. Then users would vote on said weapons with 3 votes, for favorite, second favorite, and third favorite. The swords without votes would be eliminated and then the remaining would be voted on, but with 1 vote per person. The winning design would then be given to Calimacil to make. This voting would have to happen maybe twice or three times per year, so Calimacil is…

  19. Please make dwarven weapons, mainly two handed axes and hammers

What your collection truly misses amongst all the historical and fantasy weapons are some right and proper dwarven weapons.
We all know every other race have at least some goodies, now it's time for the dwarves.

Here's what I'd like to see:
Big and heavy two handed hammers and axes suitable for strong arms and short tempers. It needs a good and sturdy grip and haft, and an overall weapon length of 120-130cm
For the love of Grungni and Grimnir, keep the design fairly simple and please don't fall for the temptation to cover them in anything but proper ANGULAR…
